I’m Back!
Whatta May!
Sooo much happened this May I simply didn’t have any time writing about it. Sorry.
First two weeks I spent literally 24/7 at the Eurovisions either in the press center or at the Hartwall Arena. I kept my dirary at our website (sorry, only in finnish), so you can basically catch up what I did from there. I kept my promise, heh, and slept 2hrs maximun per day.
My friend Richard Crane from UK stayed over at my place for couple of night, as well as my ex-roomie Pepe who came over for the Finals (and Mother’s Day). And one of my best friends Cousteau stayed here whole month, coz his boyfriend left him just days before ESC, so he needed a place to crash as well. So yeah, it’s been crowded here, but I like it like that!
And not only Cousteau and Jouni broke up, but sooo many close couple have broken up recently, that it almost seems like there’s only few (married) ones left. Well, at least there’s many eligible singles out there: Cousteau, Jouni, Tom, Ville, Johannes, Henry, Thomas, Jani, Ilkka…
Also, I meant to strat updating my site right after ESC, but I was so busy chatting with several ESC-artists online, coz I befrended with some of them over the two weeks, and now chat at MSN and e-mail each others. Coolest thing happened the following weekend from the ESC when Evridiki and Dimitris Korgialas suprised me by making a webcam-call to me in one sunny Saturday. Heh.
Also my site was down for one weekend, coz the webhostel-company screwed up something, so they lost all my stuff, but luckily got it all back. You can just imagine what kinda spectacle I would’ve arranged if they hadn’t…
What else… I’ve been putting off writing my blog, but I have been adding friends to My Friends as well as adding new Top 5′s and tons of new dvd’s I’ve bought to My DVD’s. Hesus! I must’ve spent all my holiday payment in advance by now…
Tom returned form Barcelona for few days to take care of some paper work, so he camne over to update my extensions, and dye me red again.
Riikka threw her annual Helatorstai’s Picnic, which always equals over-eating and feeling stuffed for days after. This year was no exception to that.
Hortto came and did my terrace again, so it’s once again blooming with plants and flowers, and I hang my disco balls there again, as well I put the ESC-walls I bought from the auction. Now I only need to finishing the copper-painting of my water fountain, and my terrace is ready for summer!!
Ok, won’t write too long this time. My summer vacation starts next Tuesday, so I’m sure I’ll be writing here more regularly. Heh. We’ll see…

I’m In Labour…
I did it!
I set myself an extra goal to watch a film every day in April, and I did it! Less that 90 to go whole year, jiihaa!
And the Eurovision fever is slowly starting to catch on me. Today was the last day at the office for next two weeks. I shall be living at Hartwall Arena (aka Helsinki Arena) and Messukeskus (which is the media center).
Tomorrow I shall write the 42 artist bios to my work blog, and the on wednesday I shall go to media center to get my accreditation pass and start writing daily news – I’m sooo excited about that!
And that I shall do the untill the 13th of May comes and the artists leave and the fun is over for this year.
NOTE: My ex-roomie Pepe is coming for a visit. He’ll arrive on the morning on May 10th, and stay at my place until he leaves to see his parents for the Mother’s Day (Sun 13th). So if you wanna see him, you know what to do – this is a very very rare chance.
Day before Pepe arrives, my british friends James and David will arrive to town with their danish friend. If their hostel-plan fails, then I’ve promised to accommodate them. Which would be actually be quite nice, since I haven’t seen the guys in what… three years?
And for those who have been asking if I throw ESC-party this year: Nope. I won’t. I shall be watching the live show at the media center and writing news to our website. I know several of my friends are arranging parties that eve, so… I’m just sad I cannot attend any of them. Damn you Hortto for (finally) arranging your housewarming party & ESC at the same day GRRRRR!!!
Anyways. That’s about it. Don’t expect any updates until the ESC 2007 is over. Until that… keep reading my Katso blog.
Ohh, and Happy Labour Day everyone!! I’ll be indeed labouring whole day these 42 bios…
