Kuusamo, Day 2: The 4H
Hannibal Rising. Hollywoodland. Hostel. Heros.
Song Of the Day: Theme of Salatut elämät (mom again!)
Kuusamo, Day 2: A Cattle House
I went to our cattle house today.
What else… Ohh, last night, after my blog, I got some disturbing news about the Eurovision Song Contest arrangements… I’ve sooo lost my hope now. Completely. It will be a disaster.
And this morning I woke up after seeing a nightmare about school’s gym classes. Although this time it wasn’t a real nightmare, even thougn it was about baseball, I actually remember waking up to my own screams… of joy! Heh, that’s because it was the time of choosing the players for the teams and during my school years I was always picked as last, but this time I heard my name being said as first and as I looked at the team leader who said it… it was Pate! Now how odd is that?
Song Of the Day: Theme of The Bold and the Beautiful (heard mom watching it in another room)
Kuusamo, Day 1: The List
It’s now little before midnight and so far I’ve watched last six episodes of Prison Break, one very strong drama called A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints and the beginning of Dreamland. I must say, hell, that Channing Tatum is climbing up into my Top 5 movie hunks and possibly replaced… eeks I dunno who. Here’s my current Top 10 – you tell me where I should place Channing?!
1. Jude Law
2. Josh Hartnett
3. Jared Leto
4. Ian Somerhalder
5. Jonathan Rhys-Meyer
6. Gael Garcia Bernal
7. Hayden Christensen
8. Channing Tatum
9. Keanu Reeves
10. James Duvall
Anyways, arrived today to Kuusamo. The flight went well, mainly because there was real eye-candy in the form of french and american snowboarders on the plane. Unfortunately one of the was carrying an issue of FHM and they all gathered to admire the article about â€ÂWhich of these breasts are fake?†(Yes, that’s sooo stereotypical, but true!) But especially that one longer-haired blue-eye was so easy on the eye, that I had troubles concentrating on my Dexter-book during the flight, coz he sat just one row in front of me and kept taking his pipo off and fixing his hair.
After we arrived to Kuusamo, we parted. Squish. Squish. Oh well, I got over it and went to vote. (Good luck, Ville!) Heh, that was actually the very first time I went inside the Kuusamo Talo (The House of Kuusamo), a cultural center that was built after I left the town. And realized I hadn’t missed much. Very un-inviting and empty-looking building made in local architecturistic style which doesn’t do anything for me – it just looks… cold and formal.
After that we drove home, I unpacked my stuff, mom made macaroni-cassarole and we ate. And I started to watch films in my room. That’s about it. As boring as it sounds indeed. The only exciting thing being occasional huge crashes outside, coz the snowpiles are falling down from the ceiling, because it’s +1 degrees here – suprisingly warm, coz just last week it was -34 as it’s warmest!
See… I’m already blabbing about the weather – I better get to bed right away!
Song Of the Day: Christina Aguilera – Hurt (the only song I’ve heard all day, and that was in the airport taxi)
