Hell? Sounds likely.
|
After you die… Hell After death, you will burn forever in the fires of hell. Or much more likely, you will be put into a room with two other people for all of eternity. Because hell is other people. |

Song of the Day: Omar Naber – On My Own (Original Version)
Tarja won!!!
Yes, there is a god. Occasionally, at least.
Our beloved commader in chief Tarja Halonen won the presidential elections today, but by a very very narrow margin, so counting of the votes was a real thriller. Her opponent achieved 615 more votes today, but luckily she had gotten over 110 000 more prevotes over the week, so she beat him without any doubts.
That not-so-small thing really topped this day, which had – yet again – been quite interesting.
Earlier in the day I had gotten a call, which will effect my future working quite a lot. And like always, I cannot yet reveal much about it, but have to say it confused me a great deal. And it’s hard to say which way.
Since Cousteau was working on the cruising line, and they didn’t have anyhting better to do, Jouni brought his belgian friend Jonathan over for a visit. Jonathan is staying with them for few weeks and they’d been partying two nights in a row while the cat (read: Cousteau) is away. So the logical thing was to have a little quiet-er time today, so we sat down, chatted, and started to play Settlers of Catan. The guys got so into it, especially Jouni, that we decided to play a second round as well.
Jonathan is very cute and such a nice guy. He’s not as talkative as we others, but that’s just a plus. Heh. He hates to be teased about him having a french accent, even though I thought he sounded more german. Anyways, since Jouni will be working 9to5 all week and Cousteau will be at school, I might be touring him around teh city if I manage to get some time free from the job. We’ll see. At least the guys will come over on Tuesday to have a sauna. And maybe round or two of the Catan… ;)

R.I.P.
Ripping Important Papers. That’s what I did all day.
All yesterday went by talking to people and answering their messages about my promotion. We left straight from the work to the company’s annual New Year’s Party (which always takes place few weeks after the holidays rush, which is kinds cool). It was held at the Agros Hall not that far from my home.
There was lotsa booze and even more drunken people. Our magazine was represented by only eight of us, me being the only guy present. Rest were either on vacation, working or ill. So we, at least I, had to answer people questions and it was kinds cool, even though I didn’t see all the friends there I had wished for. (Nor were there any hunks. Well, one, but he was certainly straight coz he had not one but three women fighting over him – two from our magazine even!)
But I had fun, even though it wasn’t as wild or eventful as I had predicted. Came home around 1 am and chatted with my cute norweigian friend Magne, who has a major crush on one local librarian. So if there’s anyone out there who knows if that Oslo-living librarian is gay, or free, or whatever, please let him know.
Ohh, and finally one good song at the finnish ESC’s!! Things might not even turn out bad, if all the pee-lizas in this country garb their phones and vote for Jane…. but I doubt that.
And this saturday I haven’t done anyhting interesting. Been just ripping all my articles out of the old Katso! magazines and archiving them. Made mushroom-smokedham-pastasause for Pepe and me as a farewell-dinner, coz this’ll be one of the last evenings we get to spend together before he moves out. Ohh, and Jani sms’d me: he’ll be moving in with me on the 17th if his flat isn’t done by then. I’m keeping my fingers crossed… but I don’t reveal for which way ;)
P.S. Do check out these creepyn thing: Il Vaselino and American Idol…
